Through the administration interface, you have the ability to establish and administer as many connections as they want. You can set connections for as many people as you want to an unlimited number of devices with the majority of cases not requiring a single installation. For the end user, all they ever get to see are ‘quick-link ’ icons and would be none the wiser of the host’s address or location and eliminates the need for the users to establish the connection settings themselves because it can be centrally administered.

Here’s how it works

1. Setup connections
Within the portal there is a connection management tool that gives administrators the ability to create and administer as many connections as they want from a single, easy to use interface. To make life easy for setup, administrators can create a single connection and share it with many users to eliminate the need to create multiple connections.

2. No software installations required
With the iWebGate Portal Server plugged into your network, you can establish connections to any PC or Server on the same network with the likelihood of no software installation required or the need to open and forward multiple ports.

The iWebGate Portal Server becomes part of your network with remote connections coming to it via the firewall through standard ports which prevents revealing of critical machines to the web and reduces network exposure. The portal server then bridges the incoming connection securely to the internal host.

3. Users can access at anytime from anywhere
Whether working at the office connected to the local area network (LAN) or working remotely, you and your staff have the ability to connect to hosts by simply logging into the portal and clicking on the quick connection links that have been established.

There is minimal training required, plus your users can establish a connection to any configured device through leading web browsers without needing to remember connection settings. If desired, you can provide users access to the connection management tool, to create their own connections reducing your administrative requirements.
